That actually may be a bit of an understatement. I lost my damn mind and nearly drove off the Skyway in Chicago. I was on my way to work after a perfectly normal morning, and I really wasnāt having any issues.
I took my morning meds (Aderall, Effexor) and about 20-25 minutes afterward I started experiencing some real problems. I was shaking, racing thoughts, couldnāt focus, and then the really bad thoughts started sinking in and it was worse than any panic attack Iāve ever had.
Iām not sure Effexor is the issue, but after doing some reading it seems quite possible. Doctor advised me to stop taking the adderal immediately, and if the issues persist come in and talkā¦but Iām fucking scared.
Iāve never felt that out of control of myself, and the level of dread that came out of nowhere was something I had never experienced. I texted my wife that I was āwalking awayā even pulled over in a random parking lot fully intending to just leave it there and disappear. Then as fast as it all hit me I was uncontrollably tired and fell asleep in my car.
I just wanted to see if anyone has had similar experiences here. Iām working with my doctor, and thatās the primary planā¦hopefully answers come quickly.
