TL;DR: Search funding-constrained charity focusing on kids education with easily displayable* results
I got contacted by a (not necessarily EA) association looking for a project focusing on education for kids. In my opinion, a donation to deworming programs would be very effective, as this seems to increase the time kids stay in school[1]. However, I do not think we can convince the association and its donors of the efficiency of such "abstract" measures at large organizations.
Do you know of any small project working on education, which send reports/pictures of their progress, which do not belong to a huge (anonymous) organization, and where you can imagine a non EA-person would donate to? I guess this is a balance of effectiveness versus easily understandability.
Any suggestions welcome!

*Perhaps "displayable results" is not the best term, but I hope you get my meaning.
