Just as restaurants are getting ready to reopen, Funky Buddha, a Whyte Ave hotspot for the last 15 years, is closing its doors for good.
Their Facebook page announcement:
Everyone it is with a heavy heart that we are announcing that we won’t be re opening. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers (that become family to us) and the support over the last 15 plus years. We won’t be commenting further about it at this time, but we would again like to send a huge thank you to Edmonton (all of you!) for the support! We absolutely loved being in the heart of the city and enjoyed being a part of your lives! Thank you all for letting us be a staple on Whyte Avenue for almost two decades!
This likely isn't the first we'll see of long standing establishments going under, so do your best to support local and support small businesses!
