Just wondering,
My fiance got a message today from her employer saying they needed her to return to work by May 1st. It wasn't demanding but she mentioned that if they were not able to, she would need to hire new employees and that she could not promise there would be a spot available when this clears up.
The shop is busy, and it falls beautifully in a vague/grey area in the essential services list. Half of the similar businesses are closed out of respect, the other half are slammed taking up all the extra clients.
She's setting up another doctors appointment before making a decision, but I was just wondering if her boss can even do this? I was under the impression if you were told to isolate that your job would be protected...
