Just wanted to give you guys a heads up, i recently sold my old phone over kijiji to someone in the states. We agreed that paypal would be a safe way to transact the money. I recieved an email from paypal explaining that they had recieved her payment and where holding it untill i sent paypal a tracking number for the parcel.
Makes sense thus far.
The next week i receive another email from paypal saying that i do not have a "business account" and that i have a limit on how much money i can receive. This sounds crazy suspicious to me so I called paypal directly. Turns out it was never paypal i was speaking to. I contacted my "buyer" and brought this up. They assured me they wanted me to get the money and they did not know what went wrong.
TL;DR: Check your paypal emails when selling/buying. Paypal will ALWAYS address you by your full name, never your email.
