Where's a good place for viewing wildlife?

We're new to the area, but have made several excursions hiking at Elk Island National Park, and along the river valley trails in Hermitage.

Apart from the local birds (and a whole lot of poop), we haven't seen much wildlife. Some squirrels. It's a bummer!

Where's a good place to see some local fauna?

Whitemud looks gorgeous.

Hoping to go to Jasper in May/June. I don't want to waste the gas while it's still so brown outside and the weather is still unpredictable.

That sounds darling, thank you!

Any wildlife really! As long as they're not aggressive/predatory of course. They are all wonderful in their own way.
