Bruised Clit

I doubt it’s really bruised (or at least I hope it’s not) but it’s a very tender, almost painful feeling whenever I try playing with it. I’ve been edging daily for almost a week now, just short (but intense) thirty minute/one hour sessions. Has anyone else experienced this after consistent edging? It’s a bit of an obstacle because I’m still so horny, but I don’t like the pain.
