I was in bed edging when the whole house started to shake and my bed frame started rattling — at first I just thought I was having strong muscle spasms in my legs that were rocking my bed, but it immediately sounded and felt like there was a jackhammer pounding away under the house for no more than 5 seconds.

Apparently the heart of the earthquake was identified in Maine, and I’m 60 miles away from there — I was a little startled at first, but I mentally shrugged and got back to edging; definitely a little terrifying, but it lowkey made me think about riding the washing machine lol
