Huge amount of pre-cum when edging

Hey! New to edging and recently I’ve noticed that when I’m about to cum but stop jerking, I’ll leak massive amounts of precum. Like as big an actually load sometimes but there will be no sperm. Im talking pooling on my thigh and running down my leg.
Afterwards, I’m able to stay hard and then actually cum whenever but I was wondering if this happens to anyone else.
