Truth be told, my college dream was to become a therapist. Life, grades, and my mental health had different plans for me, though. The reality is, therapy doesn't exactly pay the bills, so I had to set my sights on a different career path. It's become a running joke between my current therapist and me that I might have chosen the wrong profession – she insists I'd make an incredible therapist, for whatever that's worth.
In many of my conversations, things tend to get deep, maybe deeper than most people anticipate. I genuinely enjoy connecting with others. We're all a little broken, aren't we? I like metaphorically rolling up my sleeves and delving into your mind. It's something that truly fascinates me.
So, why not call it what it is? This is my version of bootleg therapy – a chance to get to know you. I practice active listening, but let's be clear, this is all in good fun. I'd always encourage seeking professional therapy if needed.
Just to clarify, I'm not here to "fix" you. I am, however, genuinely interested in understanding you. Maybe, through our conversations, you'll get to understand yourself a bit better too. The essence of therapy, as I've learned from my own therapist, is finding answers together. And by that, I mean real, honest, and genuine conversations – not the stereotypical "how do you feel?" kind.
If you find yourself developing feelings along the way, that's perfectly okay. We can talk about it openly. This is a safe space.
Before you hit me up, here's a bit about me:
My type? I'm drawn to slim/athletic women – smart, curious about life. But most importantly, honesty is key. Women only.
3 general rules as a disclaimer:
I cannot diagnose or prescribe - a real therapist is always best.
Because my conversations can generally last a long time and it's a time investment on my side, I require women to simply verify with a photo they're real. This cuts down on people who take advantage of my time/service and are faking. (Conversations being weeks/months currently have one going on a few years)
You're free to disagree or say I'm wrong about something. I don't intend to solve your problems for you, I just lay out the pieces on the chess board for you to find the answers. I can be wrong too but you should feel comfortable saying "hey you got this wrong".
Does this sound like you? Feel free to reach out.
