I received a notice of determination that did not go in my favor. I had my determination interview, and that guy breezed through everything, and I knew that it wasn't going my way from the get go. They had been paying me out while I waited. I appealed, and received a letter acknowledging such. When I checked in my EDD portal, all the weeks in question said Under Appeal. A few weeks back, I received a Notice of Overpayment. I went into my EDD portal, and all but the last two weeks said Overpayment. I sent in a new appeal, explaining that I had not received a first appeal hearing. The Notice of Overpayment said I was to send this in by the 13th. I have sent all letters to EDD via certified mail, so I know they picked up my appeal on the 4th, but it doesn't show in their system yet. Should I be sending another appeal? Are they just behind in recognizing that they received my appeal? Any other advice you have about my situation and how to proceed?
