Questions about work search requirement

Post Body

I have a few questions about the newly re-instituted work search requirements:

  1. I've seen the list of qualified work search activities – is there a minimum number of these you're required to do each week? Like submit a certain number of job applications each week, for instance?
  2. In terms of work search activities qualifying for a particular week, is there a cut off time? As long as I'm sending applications out before midnight (PST) on a Saturday, does that count for that week? Or does it only count for the following week after 5pm or something? (EDIT: I'm actually specifically thinking of the CalJOBS site – I've been updating my resume this week, and plan to upload it there tonight, but haven't done so yet)
  3. When submitting documentation of applications you're sending out, are you required to include the contact information for the hiring company? Will EDD contact the potential employer? My concern is that being on unemployment may reflect poorly on me as an applicant and that being contacted about it might make a potential employer less likely to hire me.

Thanks!
