I logged into my benefits online portal and it showed that I had a certification available for one week. Once I finish certifying I refreshed the page and it’s asking me to certify for that same week again as if I didn’t just do it and my benefit year changed to 03/15/2020-09/04/2021 (it was 03/15/2020-on extension). After I refreshed the page my weekly benefit amount showed $450/week and my claim balance was $25,000. My old weekly benefit amount was only $74/week with about $200 left in my balance. I figured they updated my account and I was certifying for the same week so that I could get my updated benefit amount. So I close the tab and log back in about 10 minutes later and now it’s showing my old amount again ($74/week, $200 balance). What kind of cruel, fucked up joke is EDD playing??? That’s fucked up 🙂
