Did we ever had in economic history inflation and a bond market “tantrum”?

With a $1.9 trillion recovery package the $ might inflate. Yet the Federal Reserve seems to hold the line of 0%->0.25% interest yields. I was wondering if there were cases in the Economic History of people infuriating against that and turning away from these bonds?
