After reviewing the Mastermaker subclass I want to get some community feedback/thoughts on it as a whole. I really like what Keith & Co were going for, a frontline artificer with big melee output with clear inspiration from characters like Vi from League of Legends. I know several other people have likened it to the Armorer subclass and I do see the overlap.
Now the one feature I have the biggest issue with (and I recognize I am probably making a bigger deal about this but welcome criticism or thoughts on what you would alter/fix) is that the battlefist counts as a weapon and a shield simultaneously. It seems to add up to make the Mastermaker a DPR juggernaut - which seems to be its niche. But a 2d10 one handed weapon (pun intended xD) with a shield seems excessive to me.
I just wanted to provide some context for my thoughts and to welcome whatever thoughts you all have!
