Hey everyone! First of all, sorry for bad formatting I am on my phone.
My Q'Barra campaign is currently going very well - they have found out a lot about the architecture of the web of light, but cannot find out more before they get access to a manuscript made by an anthropologist that lived with the lizard folk and recorded the meaning of their collective shared dreams and memories.
This manuscript is one of a kind and is currently in the possession of Xorchylic, mayor of Graywall. My players are currently travelling across Khorvaire to get it. I currently have no idea about how they Will Go about getting it, but I plan on playing Xorchylic as a pretty reasonable guy inspired by Discworld's Lord Vetinari.
The most straightforward way of getting the manuscript will therefore probably be to ask him for it. My question for you, Reddit is thus: what would Xorchylic ask from a bunch of adventurers in exchange for this manuscript? Any ideas?
