Day of Mourning One Shot Ideas

Doing a one shot for an intro before the campaign, and each player is playing as some sort of army general on the Day of Mourning.
Just looking for ideas on things for them to do. I know Brelish and Thrane armies were attacking Cyre, so I thought of doing just a horse style fight vs Cyre soldiers and warforged, but anything else that would be fun?
