Hello all, I am starting a new campaign set in Eberron soon and am just trying to bridge some gaps in my character’s backstory with the eberron lore as this is my first time playing in the setting.

So short version my character is a tiefling bard who grew up in a sort of band of traveling misfits and performers (who may or may not have some hidden not so great intentions and goals ofc) that her parents joined when she was very young. After talking with my dm Breland seemed like the best option for where this group mainly sticks to, having a wide variety of cities to visit and display their talents along with places to lay low in case of trouble. In what I’ve been able to find about tieflings in eberron, however, they don’t seem to really live in Breland so I’m wondering what a good way to have had her parents come across this group is.

I could be totally misunderstanding the place of tieflings in eberron lore or just overthinking this, but any advice would be very much appreciated!
