As a seller, how likely are you to offer a partial refund?
Post Body

I sold a prepaid cellphone (new in box) for about $20 shipping in May and the buyer contacted me today that it no longer works and they tried replacing the battery but it still won't power on. They requested a partial refund. I have a pretty solid feedback score (as does the buyer) and occasionally sell something (usually not phones) maybe once a month. It wouldn't hurt me to refund them $5-6 (25-30% of the selling price) but I'm not obligaged to do so. I don't mind helping people out.

In a case like this, how likely would you be to offer a refund and if so, how much would you offer?
