I purchased a refurbished laptop via eBay on the 2nd after several days the tracking info listed it as "pre-shipping item not received" I contacted the seller, they wrote back said it went out, give it a few days and keep them posted. Couple days later it finally showed as received and tracking proceeded as normal...

Until delivery when it was listed as "removed from full storage locker". I'd never seen that before and admittedly was nervous because this was the most expensive purchase I've made on eBay. I contacted the seller to see if they knew what may be going on. They replied the next day that it will be delivered.

Finally I received the laptop and immediately fired it up. After a few minutes the DVD drive started opening on its own and proceeded to open on its own every minute or so. After 20 minutes of this (it became maddening) I wrote the seller. They list a no lemon policy on their listings. They didn't reply and after a few days I wrote again asking for a partial refund. I still haven't received a reply (it's been 3 days). Do I have any recourse? I don't want to return it, other than the DVD drive malfunctioning it seems to be a solid laptop that I like but I now have a problem to deal with. I don't think a partial refund is too much to ask? Not even a large one to be honest.
