Question about shipping on weekends.

So I live in a small area where only USPS is available for 30 miles. I know Saturday is considered a business day for USPS...I learned that after putting same day shipping over 1 day shipping.

Does my shipping days go based on eBay standard or who I selected as the shipper? I just wanted to be sure before I am looking at 30mile trips for a few bucks.

Just wanting to be certain because I was told today I have just under 90% fulfillment speed rate. I know 5-10 sales are from doing that mistake of same day shipping on weekends not thinking about it and I'd work my 3rd shift job go home sleep wake up after noon then do orders for Monday.
