I have gained a significant amount of weight since my twenties (thank you, binging), so I'm trying to lose weight. Thing is, I'll cut down on calories and eat healthy food, but I am so fixated on junk food. I tried to cut out chips the last couple of weeks and I will crave it so bad, I will have DREAMS about eating. Unfortunately, my eating addiction to salt has shifted over the sugar - eating chocolate, sweets, so yes I may not be eating chips and salty foods anymore, but I'm eating sweets now, so it's just unhealthy in a different way. I'm not sure what to do. These cravings are awful. It's not even like a craving. It's a NEED. Like if I don't eat this, I'm going to skin myself kind-of feeling. Does anyone have any recommendations? I don't know how to control these horrible urges. They seem to be getting WORSE instead of better...
