Help with portion control

Hey guys I have been taking baby steps towards eating healthier and be a healthier person, I am about 300lbs and love to eat. I have already cut out alcohol in the past 2 weeks, but I always find my self over eating or forcing my self to eat whatโs left on my plate, any good suggestions on how to portion my meals better? I know this may seem like a simple question but I have had some trouble with it, thanks in advance!
