What do you do with beans for variety?
Post Body

EDIT--THANKS for all these ideas! I'll be taking my time getting through them all, and I'm already excited to try some new things. Can't wait to see more that come in, as well!

I love all types of lentils, mung means, black beans, refried pinto beans, and baked beans (they are not sweet in the UK). Chickpeas are OK as hummos, otherwise I'm not a huge fan.

I've tried other types of beans but obviously I don't know what I'm doing, and rarely like what I make.

So, I always make the same things over and over, using different seasonings, and to be honest, it gets boring. I'd like to branch out more. There are so many different beans!

What are some easily found beans (canned or uncooked, I use both) and what do you do with them?

I used to cook a LOT but nowadays prefer to make something simple, that I don't need a recipe for each time I make it.

I love to mix a can of vegan refried beans with a can of black beans, heat it up add taco seasoning and use it as my burrito or taco filling!

Depending on how many people you’re cooking for I think you can stretch the ingredients to make both meals if you mash the pinto beans into refried yourself and only use half of them.
