Can we talk about squid? Lately, I've been finding squid for just a few dollars a pound, and it only has 420 calories per pound! I threw it together with some fish sauce, brown sugar, and soy sauce for a filling dinner that was about 430 calories per serving.

u/SerbLing is right... There's really no logical justification for choosing not to eat smart animals and to eat not-smart animals. A being's value shouldn't be rooted in their problem-solving abilities

Can't believe I never thought about it that way, that's a very intuitive take (I eat animals with no moral hesitation, but I'd prefer if they weren't subjected to harsh conditions like small cages before slaughter)
