I basically have eaten healthy most of my life. But fresh food is very expensive here, so I admit I tend to buy the cheaper stuff most of the time.
All the online guides talk about eating a "rainbow" and how you get different nutrients from different things. They don't mention the frequency of them though.
So like, how many bananas do I eat a week as opposed to, tomatoes? Is there a cheat sheet I can reference?
I generally eat the fabled 5 servings of veggies/fruit. Most of my seafood intake is canned because fresh fish is $$$$. (about 1-2 servings a week?) I'm not a picky eater.
tldr; do I just keep my normal diet? What kind of improvements to make?
