Hello,
I've had a pair of Taotronics Soundliberty 79 buds for about 2 years, as per the recommendation of one crazy Australian audiophile. For the entire time I've owned them, they've been great.
However, I ran into an issue with them recently, they suddenly stopped charging. I'll plug the cord in, the indicator lights will flash and the four lights will tick up in succession, showing its charging, then it will suddenly stop completely. The case isn't getting hot or anything (which I would take to mean that its trying to charge but isn't), so its as if it's not charging at all. I've tried 3 chargers in different outlets, so that isn't the issue. Wiggling the charger around while it's plugged in doesn't make it charge momentarily, so I don't think it's a result of the material around the charger wearing down, either.
Is it just an internal failure? Is there anything else I can try? I'd like to keep them going as long as possible, because they don't seem to sell them new anymore (just questionable used ones on eBay for very inflated prices).
Thank you
