Earbuds for working from home/ in online therapy
Post Body

Hello!

I work from home as a therapist using telehealth services. I have been using the Apple Airpods Pro 2 and have been happy with them all around. However, when I say using, I mean realllllly using them, sometimes what feels like all day, for up to 5 days a week. So naturally, I am starting to notice the battery, while still good, has been falling short, and that's if I remember to charge them. If not...it could be 20 minutes or several hours of functioning, so I definitely want a second pair to have on hand, switch between, and maybe even help extend the life of both by giving them a break.

I had been looking at the "Premium Hi-Fi True Wireless Earbuds with Noise Cancelling EAH-AZ80" from Technics. While pricy, these seem to one of the best in the market, and the amount I use them, I don't mind investing in them. Would this give an improved experience for my clients and I?

Occasionally, patients have difficulty hearing me, and while usually it is a connection issue, I thought a more sensitive microphone could be useful. Do the AZ80s provide a superior chatting experience over the AAP2?

My phone and desktop are both Apple, so I understand there may be some compatibility that is not fully optimized.

What are your thoughts? Should I just get another pair of AAP2, or do you think it would be an upgrade to my workday to try the AZ80?

As always, thank you for your time and any insight!

xx
