Solo leveling as a tank when I do little damage.

I'm fairly new to the game. First character. Im playing an Argonian Necro Tank and I just hit level 26. I've been reading the guides and the build is going great. It's a ton of fun to play in dungeons with my friends and it's very effective.

I've run into an issue though. I know tanks don't need to worry about damage output but when I'm online by myself and out questing it takes forever to kill trash mobs and delve bosses.

How can I make myself do more damage when I'm on my own? I'm still reading guides but I figured posting here might be a good idea too. Any advice?
