I just got started in eso and the necromancer jumped out at me for it's versatility. It seems like it can to everything pretty well. But I find myself pulled between two maybe even three playstyles.
I like to see those big damage numbers pop up, but I also like being essential in the group and filling a proper role. I'm level 5 and so far I've been rocking light armor and a staff. This seems to work well enough and the feeling of slinging spells around is very satisfying.
But I feel like I'm missing out on all the amazing heavy armor sets and bad ass weapons. It makes me want to try playing as a tank. But then I see all the awesome healing skills that make my mouth water with how cool it would be to keep my party in the fight at all times.
I don't know. I watch build videos and they always seem to focus super hard into one area. Like if your a tank necro, completely dump magika, same for stamina necro. How can you play a necromancer and not want to cast spells? Or if you go dps necro dump everything into magika and ignore the other two. Is there no room for a middle ground or to experiment and maybe try something else?
Being a tank/healer appeals to me. I can cast my spells and use the armor I like. Is there a way I can make that work out?
