If you have question relating to strengths/weaknesses of a typing, check the functions
Post Body

When reading posts, I noticed some people have questions of “in ‘x’ situation, what should I do?” or just talking about what we’re good/bad at in general.

To make it really easy, stop and check the ESFP functions and their hierarchy.

Our dominant is Se - Extraverted sensing

Auxiliary (next in line) is Fi - Introverted feeling

Tertiary is Te - Extraverted thinking

Inferior is Ni - Introverted intuition

Our process follows a chronological path starting at sensing, and follows down until intuition if we’re pushed to use it (don’t recommend, why it’s called inferior).

If you’re wondering about your headspace, your abilities, your mental health, what type you may be, etc… look at the cognitive functions.

Many of you are thinking with your Ni far too much, which is understandable because I also used to use it far too often when my headspace was worse. But the error is thinking your type is “different” or “changed” at all. Your type is debatably determined by the great Nature vs Nurture psychological debate, but either way, we don’t change typings. We can reflect decisions of other types if we’re trying something new, but that’s just another trait of the ESFPs adaptability as an Artisan.
