I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I found an interesting book, it's called Braiding Sweetgrass.
A sentence that I found interesting was this one:
"English doesn’t give us many tools for incorporating respect for animacy. In English, you are either a human or a thing."
Does this mean that English is anthropocentric?
