Does the adverb model that finishes with ''ly'' fade in North America?
Post Body
My teacher at school tasked me to write an essay about the modern usage of the adverb ''ly'' in North America. Many internet reviews for grammar enthusiasts indicate that this adverb fades in North America. E.g., ''Take it easily - take it easy'' the model completely changes. Other reviews said that using ''ly'' points to poor grammar skills. How would you change the verb so you do not use the adverb, and do you think that's poor grammar?
