My boss , an ENFP, has been procrastinating a lot due to him very busy with other stuff. He has cancelled all our 1-1’s the past 5 months and is now annoyed with me that he is not up to date with what I do, something we normally discuss during the bi-weekly chats. We had a good relationship and I value it very much, which I why I need to tell him I feel a distance growing between us and that it impacts my work. I have not feel valued in the past months and that has impacted my self esteem, creativity and productivity.
I am afraid he will put the blame all on me, which would make the distance even bigger, the opposite of what I intend. What advice would you give me (INFP) in starting the conversation? I want to raise the issue and avoid a blame game.
**UPDATE: thank you all. I went in and told him straight up with focus on future. We had a good discussion and are ready to move forward.
