Hey all, Iโm working with a great emdr specialist and have been known to do some processing on my own (usually light, though I know itโs not recommended).
I went a little too hard the past week though, and I feel ok, but just very drained of energy - I know this happens regardless because weโre bringing up so much stuff and it takes our brains a lot to process.
I have my next session in a couple days and was wondering if people had advice to recover by my next emdr session, any help is appreciated!
(Definitely know that emdr solo is not optimal, and I try not to but sometimes I end up remembering or realizing something. But working on being safer with all these things because itโs a lot for the brain to go through. Would really appreciate any advice for my current situation!)
