Looking for a scaffolded "How to Write Simple Sentences" plan

Hello. I am a new EFL teacher and I'm about to teach Grades 1 to 3 this coming school year. I am trying to come up with step-by-step instructions on how to write simple sentences. Something that can be explained with simple, basic English, I hope. So far, the ones I've seen online are a little complicated for the kids I'm about to teach.
I would like to do this while also trying to build up their vocabulary.
Any help/tips are appreciated. Thank you very much!
