Reading through the posts here it seems like you just stop paying and wait to see what happens and wait for credit issues, judgements, bankruptcy, homes being taken etc.
Is this really the case? my mental health isnt doing too well with this. I have good credit and all else is good, but covid really messed up my construction business and I took heavy losses with clients not paying, and businesses being shut down. The EIDL loan literally got me even to a point. Now business is not the same no one wants to do renovations like that.
There are what? 4 MILLION EIDLE loans. Let's say 50% are from truly small businesses.
If we all got together and stared calling, emailing, etc DAILY sooner than later the media would get wind if it and they would have to react.
But....no one wants to actually put in ANY work.
Hmmm...but the reps in my area are Republicans and they always pick up the phone and call me back to follow up....go figure. How dare those mean repubs do their job.
And I also live in a very liberal state...California...but I'm in far Northern California where it is fairly conservative.
If...big if...if all that are effected by the EIDL mess would CALL/GO IN IN PERSON to their representatives and started making noise, something would get done. Especially since we are in an election year.
But sadly, most people are lazy and won't take the time to do it.
They rely on others to make things happen.
I mean, in the time it takes to post in here you could gave sent off emails to your representatives.
Then you call. Then you go to their office.
This is THEIR job...to represent YOU. sometimes they need reminding about this. Showing up at the office makes you more than a faceless constitute.
But again...people rarely want to put in any work. Much easier to bitch about it online with others in the same boat.
But have YOU personally made a call to them?
Or are you just not wiling to pick up the phone and see first hand if that is the case or not?
Then contact media outlets.
Make noise.
Or....do nothing and get in return exactly what you're putting out.
It's easier to always have an excuse.
Have YOU. YOU PERSONALLY....reached out to him.
Or are you just going off of what's in the news all the time?
Make noise. Get on his social media pages....DAILY.
Contact media outlets. Let them know how the EIDL is affecting YOUR business and YOUR life.
Or...just do nothing but post on here.
Maybe it won't help. But doing nothing will surely not help.

I live in a conservative county. My reps are EXTREMELY responsive to my calls.
They helped me get my PPP loan in the beginning. Without them, I would not have gotten it.
I am in contact telling them of my daily hardships and they have called ME back checking on things
So you can either use the excuse that they will jit be responsive because the media says so...or you could actually reach out yourself and see what they say.
A few minutes on the phone might surprise you.
