I have been beyond stressed to the point I was considering painting the ceiling. I have posted here a few times looking for a way out. Lawyers have been a nightmare and no one could give me an answer. I met this great lawyer who is familiar with my exact situation. We are doing the following:

We are dissolving the business and reopening a “similar business”

Shuttering that LLC and its assets. The new LLC will pay market value for those assets and that money will go to its creditors.

I’m filing chapter 7 bankruptcy as well. I have other debt that has been eating me alive. My home is in my wife’s name and he’s going to protect all the assets we can. At this time is seems like the only thing I’m losing is my boat.

My lawyer is charging me $10,000 for this entire process. It might be high might be low but I am confident in his ability to remedy my issues after speaking with him. He seems to be very confident in our pathway forward.

Bankruptcy is scary but I’m glad to finally be in a good final direction.
