Any seasonal workers in a similar situation?
Post Body

Hi guys, trying to keep up with the cerb news best as I can but I'm not sure if this has been mentioned...

I am a seasonal worker (April-November). In the winter months I collect unemployment. My work is a small business and they may not open this year at all due to covid 19. If I can't work the minimum amount of hours for unemployment in the winter, I am basically screwed for the whole year. Does anybody know if Ei will resume for seasonal workers who didn't the opportunity for employment this summer?

Any insight would be appreciated. I live in a very rural area where employment is difficult.
