I posted a picture of green beans and mentioned that it was an OMAD. First comment was “that’s not enough” I explained that I obviously knew that. They said posting a meal like that was extremely harmful to others. I told her that anyone who is triggered by restrictive meals probably shouldn’t be in a group where people post photos of restrictive meals. Perma banned then perma banned from good restriction food as well when the post had nothing to do with it lol 🙃

Reminds me of when I got banned from shitty restriction food bc they deemed my meal “too small” and “unhealthy” like wtf is a restriction meal then?? It was also SUPPOSED to be shitty. 🙄 This is why ppl are running back to tumblr

Ahhh babe I’m sorry if this discussion is pissing off the mods, this topic just really grinds my gears lol. All of us getting slapped on the wrist in the comments and having our comments removed kinda proves the point we’re making tho tbh 😬

OverlyspecificEDmemes is a lot more relaxed about the type of content/comments you’re allowed to post. They just aren’t as active over there unfortunately. If you have an ed the internet has 2 forms of support at this point. Tumblr: toxic, ed inducing, Lana del Rey vibe bullshit. Or Reddit: recovery focused, pc to a fault, holier than thou vibes. I miss the blogs from the early-mid 2000s. It was the perfect mix of toxic and wholesome lmao ppl could just be themselves.

To be fair it wasn’t a rule when I made the post. Trust me I double, triple, quadruple checked lol. If it’s a rule now it’s probably BC of my post. I actually remember commenting something like “why is this rule not written if it’s a ban worthy offense” or something like that. Bc if the rules mentioned that the word OMAD wasn’t allowed I wouldn’t have used that term. Just wouldn’t make any sense for me to intentionally get banned from a group I posted in basically daily.
