Self-describing their sound as being “so UK,” Bristol duo My Nu Leng exploded on the British music scene in 2013 after several years of underground releases. Their signature sound of dark, bass-heavy beats with a subtle emotional component was on the forefront of the heavier house sound that has dominated in recent years. My Nu Leng draw on a wide range of musical influences in their music, including drum & bass, garage, dubstep, bassline and grime. They’ve been heavily supported in the UK scene by tastemakers like Chase & Status, DJ EZ, and Eats Everything, and are continuing to make waves in the dance music community.
