With Bass House experiencing a wave of popularity across 2017-18, Habstrakt is a rising talent you should be paying close attention to. With several strong releases in 2018, Habstrakt has been productively demonstrating his skill at creating innovative, infectious and well-designed dance floor tracks.

Habstrakt’s breakout collaboration with Skrillex, “Chicken Soup,” features the hallmarks of Habstrakt’s style: metallic, discordant lead synths overlaying a bouncy beat and pitched-down tech house vocal lines. Habstrakt occasionally also implements trap elements in his tracks with bridges and buildups that feature hi hats, snares, 808s and syncopated rhythms.
