2) When posting a song, link to the artist's official page whenever possible. Only if this cannot be found are you allowed to link to a different channel.
Usually you can always find where the artist has posted the music. It makes me angry to see some brand on YouTube who re-posts songs to attempt to make money have more views than the artist who devoted all his time and effort to create the song.
These brands do not deserve endorsement, and we will not endorse them. We have been very lenient with you guys posting songs from these channels, but we are going to begin to crack down now.
Support the artists!
EDIT: Also let me clarify, there are some good brands out there. Brands like Monstercat, and Spinnin' are good because they are Labels. They own all rights to this music and are only helping to support the artists. There are also brands like EDM.com who are okay since the artists have to submit there songs to them, the artists is also getting any revenue that EDM.com receives from there song post. (We are not affiliated with EDM.com at all by the way, they have tried to buy us out on multiple occasions and we have declined because we prefer to keep our community separate.)
