For example, I love the opening sound to the song Hustle by Hairitage. It's super punchy and a bit wubby and he mixes it in well throughout the song on the drops. Another sound I really I enjoy is in the song Simulation by Virtual Riot, after "Enter the Simulation" on the first drop. It's how I imagine a computer achieving a burst of enlightenment would sound lol.
A sequence of sounds that I enjoy is in the song Reborn by Kaivon, around 1:16 there is a super crispy sound of a gun cocking back and then a clean drum fill into another drop.
I find myself becoming very intrigued by particular sounds in songs. What are some of your favorite sound designs??
I like the owl hooting sound that used to be very popular in online EDM radio set transitions. Also raggea rapping as I call it and sonorous synth intros.
