Hey All. Been playing MTG paper since ish the start of the year.

The power creep in my meta is strong and everyone plays a variety of go big or go wipe type decks. Theres a few board wipes creeping in but no control, counter spell type cards.

This has meant the cards are getting bigger and bigger with no punishment.

I want to create some form of control deck with counter spells. From what ive seen these are difficult to pay due to card advantage or no win cons.

I have seen [[Talrand, Sky Summoner]] or maybe [[Rashmi, Eternities Crafter]] as a commander.

Any suggestions for a deck type or commanders? Preferably i dont want to play Stax.
