I think it's no argument that these new UB Precons have much tighter designs and value that the non-UB Products.
But I am curious what the general consensus is on which ended up with the less 'chaff', IE; the least with cards inconsequential or mediocre in impact.
I haven't delved much into the Nids, Imperiums, and Chaos deck.
But so far personal opinions on Nekron, I really do like the general strategy and tightness of the Nekron deck, but then it also has a handful of really dull cards like [[Flayed One]]... which feels like a disrespect to what is genuinely a very horrifying concept being turned into half a Stitcher's Supplier... or [[Royal Warden]] which is half a Grave Titan but Artifact-ier (And this might just be Nitpicking Nerds getting to me but that is not a good card), then there's [[Skorpekh Destroyer]] which is 'Could be an evasive/efficient blocker?' but even with the abundance of Flash artifact creatures in the deck just feels underwhelming, then there's the amazingly named [[Tomb Blade]] which is..... punishing exactly what? This does nothing to Go Wides and the additional damage it does to decks with lesser creatures feels negligible. Lastly Unearth in general feels like the weakest of the straight from Graveyard recursion mechanic (Granted mechanics like Escape, Encore aren't straight from the Graveyard as they come from the GY to the Stack/Exile to the Battlefield.... and I suspect Undying / Persist are too easily broken (?) not the theming they want )
Don't get me wrong, the good cards here are reallllly reallly good, and there are a lot of them. Which I guess makes seeing these underwhelming / disappointing designs that much more terrible.
Will update as I look into the other precons.
