So I'm building a Satoru Umezawa deck; I know. It's insanely popular.
While planning with a friend he was getting so annoyed at the potential of being one shot etc and suggested cards that "simply couldn't be included" ðŸ˜ðŸ¤£ So I propose a compromise and I'm SUPER excited. What I plan is to structure the deck like this:
X- lands Y- instants/sorceries Z- unblockable/evasive creatures (shadow, horsemanship etc) A- an amount of big beaters (high cmc to cheat on with satoru.)
The base deck will always be xyz. But I'll leave an amount of sleeves free between games. I will keep a sideboard of big creatures to cheat in. Before a game an opponent can shuffle my sideboard and chose the right amount of cards without looking and I'll sleeve them up without looking so every game is VERY different and I'll never know what I'm cheating in.
Your suggestions: I need large dimir or mono-blue mono-black creatures that are high cmc and have great etbs or "when this creature deals combat damage" effects.
Obviously blighsteel is on the list. I'm all ears.
Tldr; satoru umezawa cheating on big things. What big things should I cheat?
