So last night I was playing a 3 player game. I was playing [[Brion Stoutarm]] and the whole idea behind my deck is "take your shit and throw it at you". Enter the second player with [[Kaalia of the vast]] and a third playing [[go-shintai]] shrines. I'm last in the rotation and it's turn 3 when Kaalia hits the field. On his next turn he swings with Kaalia at the third opponent with putting in [[master of cruelties]] which is blocked by a [[taurean mauler]] so the effect doesn't happen. The next player does nothing except play a land. On my turn I draw [[grab the reins]] take master of cruelties, swing at the kaalia player which goes unblocked so his health is now at 1 and I throw master at the kaalia players face and kill him. I was called "cheap" and "scummy" (all in good nature as my pod is my close friend group). And then a turn later I threw [[serra avatar]] for 42 life. Was I the asshole? Or just capitalizing on a dumb dumb play? He knew what brion does from the start.
