Hi everyone, I've recently been working on a cats and equipment tribal deck and I've run into some problems. I feel like the deck is trying to do too much at once by tying in some cat tribal cards and equipment synergistic cards. [[Marisi, Breaker of the Coil]] is my commander for this deck because he is a Naya cat who I've always personally liked. He doesn't synergize that well with the rest of the deck beyond being a cat who protects my creatures during combat, but he is still fun regardless.

The deck originally had a lot more cards (around 150) but I whittled it down to these 100. I left some cards in the maybeboard that I felt bad about cutting and might put them back in. I also had to cut out a lot of the cat "warriors" and a few of the tribal payoffs, which made it feel less like a cat tribal deck and more like an equipment deck that had cats as well. Additionally, in building this deck, I also built a foil to the deck that was just an equipment tribal) helmed by [[Akiri, Line Slinger]] and [[Tana, the Bloodsower]]. I wanted to see how an equipment tribal deck would function without the cats, and in my online playtests, I found the non-cat version to be a bit more consistent.

That being said, I am definitely more of a casual player and love the idea of making a cat equipment deck work. So my question is do you all think that I can make any changes to my original decklist to make it more consistent and make it more on theme?

Also, as a side note: I don't have a maximum budget, but I don't run cards like Mana Crypt and the like because while I enjoy cEDH, I would rather keep my jank decks jank.
