Post Body

Hello fellow magic players!

One of my all time favorite legendary creatures is [[Mairsil, the Pretender]].

The idea of always having activated of everything you put in a cage and slowly drawing out answers from your opponents with a single creature is fascinating.

In the past, however, the deck at the time was oppressive that I was asked by my playgroup to stop playing with it, which lead to its perpetual deconstruction (with much sadness).

Tonight I thought about rebuilding the deck but this time with a strong theme: Tims!

There are so many Tim effects in Grixis that I could pile on those same activated abilities with some untap abilities and ping my way to victory.

Has anyone else tried this theme out with Mairsil? I think this will lead to a significantly powered down version of the deck while still being very fun to pilot.

Let me know your thoughts below!
